I left school when I was 15 and started an apprenticeship with my Dad. I grew up in a butchery family, my dad & my brother are butchers so I think I was always going to be a butcher! It’s in my blood (-:
Why do you want to be a part of the Australian Butcher Team for WBC 2025?
I’ve always looked up to the guys that represented Australia for butchery, so for myself, it’s a dream that come true! Australia deserves to be number 1 in the world and I want to be part of that journey. It means so much to me and my family.
Being a butcher, what’s your favourite thing to take home from the shop and cook for yourself?
I love the king of the steaks – tomahawks!!!!
What’s the hardest thing about being a butcher?
When you love the trade, not much that is hard really.
What’s your favourite thing to do when you’re not at work?
Spending time with my family and creating new products for butchery.

No, it’s our job to educate customers the right way
